Is it complicated to use?

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your information and families' information is hosted in Canada (Microsoft Azure, Canada Central). It is encrypted, meaning scrambled while it travels and while it's stored: without authorized access, it stays unreadable. The most sensitive details, such as an identification number, are scrambled a second time and hidden on screen. alloparent is designed around the requirements of Law 25, the Quebec law that governs personal information. We never store your credit card numbers: payments are handled by Stripe, a specialized payment service.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. alloparent is designed for phones and works on iPhone and Android. You can look up a child's file, emergency contacts or allergies directly from your phone.

Is there a commitment or minimum period?

Fixed-price plans are billed monthly or yearly, as you choose, and the commitment matches that cycle. The Per unit plan is billed each month, for the month that just ended. If you cancel within the first 14 days of your subscription, you get a full refund. After that, no refund is issued: you keep access until the end of the period already paid.

What languages is support available in?

What is the difference between support levels?

All plans include access to our team through the app's help center: you send a help request and follow our replies in one place. Standard support: response within 5 business days. Priority support (Per unit plan): your help requests are tagged "Priority help request" and handled first.

How does pay-per-use billing work?

With the Per unit plan, you pay for the number of children and colleagues active in your workplace. Nothing is billed at sign-up: each month, one invoice covers the month that just ended. If your facility grows, the price adjusts on its own. A single subscription can cover up to 0 children and 0 colleagues.

Can I manage several workplaces?

Yes. You can add other workplaces to your account and switch between them in the app. Each workplace has its own subscription, its own records and can display its own logo.

Can I manage my subscription myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's all done in the app, without calling anyone. A bigger plan is billed right away, and the unused time on the old one is credited to your account. A smaller one takes effect at your next renewal. You can also view your invoices, update your payment method, turn off automatic renewal on a fixed-price plan or cancel your subscription.
